Résumé
The Regional Programme of Access to Services in the English‑Language for the English‑Speaking Population of Montreal 2012‑2015 (hereafter Regional Programme) has been developed with the help of numerous people from the region’s health and social service institutions and the English‑speaking community.
The Programme’s goal is to determine institutions’ obligations with regard to the health and social services that must be made accessible in English, in keeping with the human, material and financial resources of the institutions, and according to the legislation in effect, specifically sections 1, 4 and 29.1 of the Charter of the French Language. The 2012‑2015 Regional Programme seeks to maintain and improve accessibility to the health and social services provided to the English‑speaking population.
